Use your voice to make a comment  at the hearing to oppose offshore drilling! Speak out to protect our oceans.

Sec. of Interior Ryan Zinke announced the next phase of Trump's reckless plan to expand offshore drilling. The plan is unprecedented in it's scope and puts at risk some of the most special coastal places in the U.S., including Virginia and the Chesapeake Bay.

The Draft Proposed Program has been posted to BOEM’s website here: https://www.boem.gov/NP-Draft-Proposed-Program-2019-2024/

Currently, there is only one BOEM public event in Virginia. It will be in Richmond from 3-7pm on Wednesday February 21st at the Sheraton Four Points Richmond Airport at 4700 S Laburnum Ave.

We will be having a press conference at 2:00pm at the hotel! Please stop by to listen in and grab your free stickers, t-shirts, posters, and yard signs!

At the meeting, participants can ask questions, share information, talk with our team members one-on-one, and learn more about the National OCS Program. We also encourage participants to submit written comments to inform BOEM of specific issues, impacting factors, environmental resources, alternatives to the proposed action, and mitigation measures to consider in its analyses.
