The fight to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is heating up -- are you ready to do more? The republican plan to balance the budget on the backs of the peoples and wildlife of the Arctic Refuge is moving through Congress faster than expected, representing the greatest threat to these lands in decades.
We must do all we can to send a message to Congress, loud and clear, that these lands must remain protected. Representatives will be in their home districts while they’re on recess next week, November 20 and 21. In the spirit of the world-famous Porcupine caribou herd that relies on the coastal plain of the Refuge for survival, we must all come together to make a big showing, and do our part to protect the Arctic Refuge -- forever!
