On Aug 31, Sierra Club Rocky Mountain Chapter, Environment Colorado, Google Project Sunroof, Climate Reality Project and dozens of other organizations, gathered in Denver to celebrate bold climate action in cities across Colorado. Hundreds of folks joined the fun by forming a giant human art sculpture, calling for more clean energy, like wind and solar!
But that’s not all. Event speaker and local environmental leader Mayor Suzanne Jones heard the call from Coloradans and citizens like you, and made a HUGE announcement!
Mayor Jones announced that Boulder will be the 17th city in the nation to commit to generating 100% of their electricity from clean, renewable sources by 2030! Thank her now!
